Our thoughts on the cavernous business lounges which run the whole length of the concourse are below. We’ll certainly be back! So due to the fact that Dubai, is the home of the carrier Emirates, naturally the business class lounges are in a class of their own! Only1invillage gives you the lowdown on what to expect when you have a couple of hours to spare in the UAE, before or after your next flight.

how to find the emirates dubai business class lounge
When you land in Dubai with Emirates and are holding a business class ticket, you don’t even see your economy class fellow passengers. As a result a separate walkway guides you. Be warned though, the walk is rather long!
After you have shown your ticket to gain entry, you will be met by a huge, hopefully fairly empty area full of comfortable chairs and small coffee tables.
Likewise, if you’re in transit, just head straight to the lounge, you can’t miss the sign to business class bliss!

The business class lounge in Dubai was the best part of our holiday after a disastrous cruise on the Queen Mary 2 where the food was so bad that we actually lost weight- on a cruise!! We wish we had spent the 2 weeks in this lounge instead because, unlike the ship, it was calm and quiet, the food was delicious, the champagne bar fabulous and everything was super clean with lovely little touches like a fresh rose on each table.
Outbound the flight from Dublin to Singapore was wonderful but we didn’t have time to sample the lounge at Dubai when catching the connecting flight as the timing was too tight but coming home we flew from Dubai to Dublin and had at least an hour and a half to savour the delights of the lounge, wonderful.
It was a special 30th anniversary treat for us to fly business class, we are well travelled yet hate shelling out to upgrade but if an airline offers this kind of quality product then we may well upgrade in the future.

Hi there Joanne,
So sorry to hear the QM2 was a disaster when you had paid so much money!
Emirates is a favourite airline of ours due to their expansive network of quality lounges across the globe. Oh and yes, their A380 business class product is hard to fault. We’re flying Qatar business class soon, so stay tuned for the Doha lounge review and the much hyped after Qsuite review.
Thanks for visiting our website and happy future travels!
